They are 3.2mm diameter so just slightly bigger than the ss10 size crystals so are the perfect size for filling any gaps where ss16 is the main crystal size, if you are looking to use ss12 for the main crystal size ss9 would then be a good size for filling gaps where a 3.2mm crystal is too big to fit.
