Course information:
Tiara making Level 1: Learn how to make a tiara in a day, using sparkly crystal beads, pearls and twisted silver or gold plated wire. Create your own unique piece, perfect for weddings, proms, first communions and balls, as well as gifts for friends and relations. Topics covered include materials, suppliers, design and lots of other tiara making tips.
Tiara making Level 2: Expand your new skill, by attending the next level. Use pre-cast metal components wired onto a metal frame, to create a stylish and sophisticated look. Only open to those who have completed Level 1 Tiara making.
Crowns and Coronets, Combs and Clips: There’s never enough time on the level 1 & 2 courses to cover this subject, so here’s the opportunity to specifically concentrate on the fascinating area of making Crowns and Coronets as well as clips and combs. Open to students who have completed Level 1 Tiara making.
Basic Bead Jewellery: Learn how to make beaded jewellery to match your tiara, or simply for your own pleasure. Use tiger tail, crimps and beads to make necklaces, earrings, bracelets and anklets. Perfect as gifts for friends or use bridal themed beads and create for yourself or your bridesmaids.
Beaded Jewellery Level 2: An inspirational course showing students how to use more unusual materials such as chain and leather, to create unique jewellery pieces. Open to those who have taken Basic bead/bridal jewellery.
Beaded Flower Making Workshop level 1: Learn how to make beaded flowers, using techniques perfected by the women of Venice in the Middle Ages and more recently by 18th century Frenchwomen. Create a corsage of gypsophila, daisies, forget me nots and leaves, using small seed beads and beading wire. Useful for incorporating into tiaras, slides and jewellery.
