They are often referred to as rhinestones, crystal rhinestones or hotfix flatback crystals and are loose crystal components that have a multi faceted face on one side and a platinum foil coated with a heat sensitive glue on the opposite side. They come in a wide range of shapes, colours and sizes with the most popular being the crystal or crystal AB 2028 Xilion Rose which is now being replaced with the updated 2038 model.
