Also available for bracelet and necklace making are crimp beads and crimp tubes, toggle clasps, lobster clasps, extender chains and pendants. For making earrings we have Sterling silver fish hooks and studs and will soon be adding head pins.
Bead caps are used for earrings, necklaces and bracelets to prevent a bead from falling off the beading thread or the end of a head pin. Bead caps come in a wide range of beautiful intricate designs that can add detail to your jewellery piece to give it a hint of sophistication. They can be used alongside semi precious beads, glass beads and Swarovski crystals and are simple to use. Our bead caps are silver plated / copper and are lead and nickel free.
Crimp beads are small metal beads with a hole through the centre that are often tube or ball shaped. They are used for securing the ends of beading wire together for adding jewellery clasps. To add a clasp to the end of your jewellery piece, thread the beading wire through the crimp bead, then through the clasp loop and back through the hole in the crimp bead. Once you are happy with the position of the crimp and clasp, crush the crimp bead with crimping pliers, to form a permanent connection.
Headpins and Eyepins for jewellery making.
Lobster claw clasps are a traditional style clasp that’s very popular for finishing necklaces, bracelets and anklets. They have a loop at one end for adding a jump ring to or for threading the stringing material through which will then get secured with a crimp. The other end of the lobster clasp also known as a lobster hook has a fastener that is kept shut by a spring mechanism. To open and close the clasp you push on the small lever which opens the arm, which snaps shut once the lever is released making this a very secure form of clasp. Available in Sterling silver or silver plated brass.
Magnetic clasps have strong magnets that’s are easy to open and close yet strong enough to keep your jewellery secure. Our range of silver plated magnetic jewellery clasps are ideal for anyone who has poor dexterity but are not suitable for anyone who is pregnant or has a pacemaker.

Sterling Silver Heart Pendants
Silver plated spacer beads in a range of shapes and sizes that are ideal for adding contrast to a jewellery design or for drawing attention to various beads. Spacer beads can also be used to lengthen a piece of jewellery or just to separate the beads or charms within a jewellery piece. If your design incorporates a silver clasp or charm its better to stick with silver spacer beads and keep the metal findings consistent throughout the jewellery piece, the same applies for Gold findings.
We have a range of Sterling silver toggle clasps and silver plated brass toggle clasps for jewellery making. Toggle clasps are two piece clasps that are made up of a bar and a ring, the bar is wider than the ring so that when it’s inserted through the ring it keeps the clasp locked. Toggle clasps are usually used for bracelets or anklets and can come in beautiful intricate designs but are not as secure as lobster clasps.
